GURUNATHA MOKSHA

Gurunatha Moksha is a guru and rishi from the 5000 year-old Natha lineage of Himalayan Trika Yoga.

Working relentlessly in the conflict zones of Kashmir, Gurunatha Moksha is a beacon of light and hope for the few Sanatanis living there. Through his organisation Rishikula Foundation, he energises, activates and restores dilapidated Bhairava temples in the country to awaken the Kshatra spirit of Bharat. 

“Adhyatma in India has been refined through research and development of more than 5000 years! Yet it continues to evolve dynamically. Now that is Sanatana Dharma – to adapt and grow, evolve and involve, transform and transcend,” he says.

Gurunatha Moksha continues to enrich thousands and guide them to improve their quality of health, wealth, work and relationships through programs called INVOLUTION. These are primarily developed from his own deep spiritual insights and offer simple solutions to every human problems. He has been in selfless service for more than a decade to usher in wellbeing and enlightenment around the world. 

The core of Gurunatha Moksha’s teaching is to turn his disciples into complete beings who will take up vanaprastha to conserve nature, grow living eco-systems, and usher in an age of modern RISHIS & RISHIKAS. 

In his purvashrama, Gurunatha Moksha as Dr. Manish Mokshagundam has been in the mass media industry in various capacities for 22 years. He is an avant-garde filmmaker, documentary maker, journalist and author. His favourite theme is “individualism and society”, and his works explore areas of culture, art, sociology, anthropology, spirituality and political history.

He is also one of the very few Indologists in the country with a doctoral degree in the interdisciplinary subjects of Communications & Indology. Having been a research scholar of Indology to the prestigious MHK Institute of Indology and Indian Institute of Action Archaeology and Heritage Studies, he has authored several important pioneering research works in the fields of History, Indology and Communications and also published several books, poetry, articles and directed numerous AV-Documentaries on Culture, Archaeology, Heritage, Architecture, Sociology, Ethnicity, Memetics, Etc around the world. He has made dozens of documentary films, won two state awards, has produced & directed four Feature films including the critically acclaimed Sanskrit movie “Mudrarakṩasa”.

Gurunatha Moksha is also a member of the Editorial Boards of the Mythic Society Journal, Scientific Journal of Humanistic Studies, and Journal of Action Archaeology & Heritage Studies.
