On 22nd MARCH, 2013, on the auspicious occasion of Ugadi, the Sharada Sarvajna Peeta was invoked in Kashmir. On account of this, the holy land of Sanatana Dharma, the land of Maa Sati and her Shakti Peethas, witnessed a shift in the spiritual grid-lines of Bharat.

Rishikula Foundation was fortunate to participate in this divine project of translocating the Shakti Peeta over to the Dharmic side of Kashmir, in a quaint, quiet hilltop border-village called Teetwal which is situated on the banks of the Kishanganga River in Kupwara district, close to the Line of Control with Pakistani-administered Kashmir.

It is here that Rishi Gurunatha Moksha was given an Aadesh by the Universal Creatrix to understand and equate Bharat Mata as the elemental embodiment of the Mother Goddess variously called Maa Sharada, Maa Parvati, Maa Saraswati, Maa Lakshmi, Maa Shakti, Maa Kali, Maa Sharika (in Kashmir)and so forth.
